Dry Spell

There is absolutely nothing worse than a dry spell, when ideas cannot be shaped by words, when thoughts are disconnected from pen.

When you stare at a blank screen, and it stares blankly back at you.

When a fresh sheet of pure clean paper ends up in doodles and scribbles, without forming any meaningful sentence or phrase.

When the fountain of dreams run dry.

When I get writers' block. Ugh.
